Welcome

You're not broken. Your nervous system just never got the message it's safe.

Anxiety is exhausting in a way that's hard to explain to people who don't live with it. The racing thoughts. The tight chest. The 2 a.m. replay of every conversation. The sense that if you stop scanning for the next problem, something bad will slip through. Your nervous system learned to stay on guard, and it hasn't been told it's safe to stand down. That's what we work on.

How We Work

  • Calm the body first. Anxiety is physical before it's verbal, so we start there
  • Meet the anxious part. With curiosity instead of a fight
  • Heal what's underneath. The younger, more tender thing the anxiety has been guarding
  • Tools for the spike. Grounding and regulation you can use the moment it hits

Is this you?

  • Your thoughts race and you can't shut them off, especially at night.
  • The worry lives in your body: tight chest, clenched jaw, shallow breath, a knot in your stomach.
  • You plan for the worst so nothing can catch you off guard, and it never feels like enough.
  • You overthink texts, decisions, and conversations long after they're over.
  • You look calm and capable on the outside and feel like you're holding it together with both hands.
  • Panic shows up out of nowhere, or the low hum of dread never fully leaves.

You're functioning fine on the outside, and you're worn out from the effort of it. That's reason enough to come in.

Most anxiety treatment stops at managing symptoms. We go underneath.

Alicia Wright, LCSW, guiding a grounding practice during an anxiety therapy session in Mesa, AZ

"We don't fight the anxious part. We ask what it's been protecting."

. Alicia

Anxiety is almost always a part of you working overtime to keep you safe from something older and more tender. We calm the body first, then we get curious about what the anxious part is protecting. When the thing underneath finally gets what it needed, the anxious part can rest. It doesn't have to guard the gate forever.

You can't think your way out of a nervous system that doesn't feel safe. So we don't stop at talk. We work with breath, the body, the story, and the parts, so the calm actually holds instead of lasting until the next trigger.

Nervous System & Somatic

We start with the body, because anxiety is physical before it's verbal.

Why holistic, for anxiety

Most anxiety treatment stops at managing symptoms. We go underneath. Holistic here isn't vague. It means we treat the whole person, not the symptom, so the relief lasts.

We work with the body and the breath, because that's where anxiety lives before it ever becomes a thought. We work with the parts, because the anxious one is doing a job it took on a long time ago. And we work with the story underneath, because that's what the anxiety has been guarding the whole time.

The goal isn't to white-knuckle your way to calm. It's to build a nervous system that actually feels safe, so the quiet holds on its own.

When anxiety hasn't moved with talk alone

For anxiety and depression that have been locked down for a long time, sometimes talk isn't enough on its own. Ketamine-assisted therapy can loosen the grip of the protective parts just enough to reach what's underneath, and the therapy is what makes the experience mean something. It's not an IV drip in a clinic. It's real psychotherapy, held with intention. Learn more about KAP →
